HOTEL BOOKING AND CANCELLATION TERMS

The following booking and cancellation terms and conditions apply when booking a room from our website or reception by email or phone. Please keep in mind that different terms and conditions apply to different booking codes. You’ll find more information about specific terms and conditions when making your reservation.

 

The hotel reserves the right to making changes to these terms and conditions for special events like holidays, happenings, or other specific occasions. These terms and conditions mentioned below apply for reservations made by an individual, private person unless a special agreement has been made. For security reasons only the hotel personnel and checked-in customers have access to hotel rooms and customer spaces. We have the right to remove anyone without a reservation from hotel area or rooms.

 

PAYMENTS

In addition to cash in euros, we accept Finnish debit cards and Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club as the international credit cards. If your payment method is a gift card, please take your gift card with you. Most booking codes requires payment when booking is made from our website.

We don’t accept foreign currency. A payment card guarantee is given at check-in. All possible costs of the visit can be charged from the given payment card if necessary.

 

BOOKING GUARANTEE

All room bookings are guaranteed with payment card information. We do not accept unguaranteed bookings.

 

CHECK-IN

Hotel rooms are at customers’ use starting from 15:00 on arrival day. The room is reserved until 6pm unless a later arrival time has been agreed upon. If later arrival time hasn’t been agreed upon and the booking hasn’t been guaranteed with card information, the hotel has the right to release the reserved room for sale.

 

CHECK-OUT

The room must be vacated by 12:00 at noon on departure day, unless a later departure time has been agreed upon. Late check-out can be purchased at the extra cost of 10€/hour if there is availability. Later check-out must be arranged beforehand with the reception personnel. The hotel may have different times for check-out according to different campaigns.

 

CANCELLATION AND NO ARRIVAL

The room can be cancelled until 18:00 on the day prior to arrival without a fee. If the booking hasn’t been cancelled or the customer doesn’t show up on their arrival day, the hotel has the right to charge the rate of the first night and possible services ordered beforehand from the customer. Please keep in mind the different terms and conditions in different booking codes – not all bookings can be cancelled.

 

GUEST BEHAVIOUR IN THE HOTEL

We follow good manners and regulations at the hotel. If you should break these rules, you may be immediately removed from the premises. In this case the hotel has no obligation to return the payment of the accommodation or any purchased services to the guest.

 

GUEST’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE

The guest is responsible of any damage, caused intentionally, by accident or negligence. The damages caused by pets are also to be covered by the guest. The amount of the compensation is based on by the severity and quality of the damage.

 

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUESTS VALUABLES

There are safety deposit boxes in the hotel rooms where you may store your valuables. However, the hotel isn’t responsible for valuables stored in a safety deposit box. The hotel can store valuables upon guests request and is entitled to collect a charge for storage of these items. The hotel can also refuse to store guests’ valuables. The guest is responsible for their own luggage. The hotel isn’t responsible of any personal items forgotten or left at the hotel. The hotel isn’t accountable for any damage or disappearance of vehicles or their contents.

 

EARLY DEPARTURE

Please let the reception know of your departure. The hotel has the right to collect full payment of the accommodation if departure isn’t within the hotel’s cancellation policy.

 

UNDERAGE GUESTS

A room reservation can only be made by a person over the age of 18. The adult booking a room for an underage guest is responsible for the accommodating guest. A written permission is required for an underage guest’s stay. The permission must contain the guest’s name, date of birth, home address and the same information from the guardian and their signature.

 

HOTEL ROOMS

All room rates include breakfast and use of the pools, saunas and the gym. Please keep in mind that the use of wellness services may be limited in time because of the pandemic.

Please contact reception to check the availability of special request rooms or extra beds. The fee for extra bed is 30€/night, extra bed for a child under 2 years is 15€/night and pet fee is 40€ or 50€ if you have two pets. The family rooms in our hotel are the pet friendly rooms.

All rooms in Långvik Congress Wellness Hotel are smoking-free. This applies also to e-cigarettes. If breaking this regulation, we charge a 100€ cleaning fee.
